This would have been a deal breaker for us, as climbing the Tor was the reason we were on this tour. Why not change your description, then? They knew before the tour that we would not go there, but it is advertised in the description of this tour. We were all upset that we didn't get to walk up the Tor as stated in the tour description the tour guide said it was because a long time ago someone hurt their ankle. This trip did NOT go to Glastonbury Tor as described. Then, relax during the return journey back to London, where the tour concludes. Marvel at these huge monuments that were hauled into place thousands of years ago. Next, travel to the village of Avebury, home to charming thatched-roof cottages and some of the largest megalithic stone circles in the world.
